Contract awarded for acquisition of consulting/expertise IT services for the development, testing, and implementation of the new case management system, including staff training services The general objective pursued by the project is to increase the efficiency of the judicial system by providing it with a modern IT system adapted to current needs, which will support its specific activities. The specific objective that the implementation of the services contributes to consists of modernizing and adapting the electronic case management system to meet the current needs of the judicial system. The new electronic system includes a multitude of specific technical and functional objectives related to the development/customization and implementation of software and hardware products, objectives organized and structured around the essential software components for its operation. Among the anticipated advantages of the future system, we mention: an electronic file, which will allow beneficiaries a fully electronic management of documents in files (at the level of courts and prosecutor's offices), without excluding the use of paper, in order not to restrict access to justice for those who do not have the ability to use technology; interconnection with other existing IT systems; an indispensable tool provided to the management of the judicial system, offering, through the information provided, both an overview and a picture of specific situations, in order to make decisions regarding its operation under optimal conditions.
